Brazil did not disappoint its supporters. The World Champions had a strong win over Argentina 3-0 in Maracaibo, Venezuela, proving once again that it is still the best national football team in the world.

Brazil opened the score in the 2007 Copa America final against Argentina when Julio Baptista scored in the 4th minutes after start in the upper right side of the box.

In the 38th minute of the game Argentina was closed to an auto-goal. Ironically, 2 minutes later, Argentina's defender Roberto Ayala (number 2), did it -- making 2-0 for Brazil.

In the 69th minute of the match, Dani Alves, assisted by Vagner Love, scored the third and final goal in the low-left-far side of the box.

Brazil has won against Uruguay in a penalty shoot-out in the semi-finals. Brazil had a difficult win against Venezuela in the semi-finals -- 5-4 on penalty -- after a 2-2 tie.

Brazil, for the eighth time secured the gold in the Copa America. They have played in all finals but in 2001 in the past 12 years. Brazil played without Ronaldinho and Kaka, who took their holiday break. Argentina brought its full national team, intending to win the title for the 15th time this year, although it could not win the gold in the finals since 1993.

Thus, Argentina got the silver and Mexico secured the third place on Saturday, beating Uruguay 3-1, in the Copa America Venezuela-2007.
