Airport bomb causes Cassano to miss Real training session
Madrid -- The car bomb which exploded at Madrid's Barajas airport on Saturday has caused Antonio Cassano to arrive late for Real Madrid's first post-Xmas training session.
Cassano's flight from Italy was delayed on Saturday evening due to the damage caused at Barajas' fourth terminal by the car bomb placed earlier on Saturday by Basque terrorist group ETA.
On Thursday Cassano refused to leave Real on loan to AC Milan. Real are keen to offload the wayward Italian striker, signed a year ago from AS Roma. // © 2006 DPA
