Barcelona breeze into Club World Cup final
Tokyo (dpa) - European champions Barcelona cruised to a 4-0 victory over Club America in Yokahama Thursday to set up a final against South American champions Internacional in the Club World Cup.
Eidur Gudjohnsen gave Barcelona the lead in the 11th minute, defender Rafael Marquez headed a second in the 30th, Ronaldinho made it three in the 65th, then set up Deco five minutes from time.
Barcelona meet Internacional in the final Sunday of the tournament involving the world's six continental champions. The Brazilians had beaten Egyptian side Al Ahly 2-1 in Wednesday's first semi-final.
Al Ahly will now face Mexico's Club America on Sunday in the match for third place. On Friday, Auckland City of New Zealand and Jeonbuk Motors of South Korea play for fifth place. // © 2006 DPA
