Beckham wants to stay with Real Madrid
David Beckham wants to stay with Real Madrid.
Beckham, who has been playing as a substitute under coach Fabio Capello, said Monday he has resumed contract negotiations with the team. His current contract finishes at the end of this season.
"I am happy here. My family are happy here," Beckham said. "At the moment I play for Real Madrid. Let's hope it carries on."
If Beckham has not signed a new contract by January, other teams can start bidding for him, reports AP.
"If it gets to January, nothing changes. I am not leaving," Beckham said. "I am not going anywhere in January. I want to stay because I believe we can win something this season."
Beckham also said would be patient as he tries to get back into the starting lineup. // Pravda.Ru
