Romanian football team Unirea Urziceni, coached by famous Romanian football player Dan Petrescu, has recorded one of the most resounding victories of Romanian teams in the Champions League, having defeated Glasgow Rangers 4-1 (1-1) on Tuesday evening in an away Group G match.

Scoring for Unirea were Marius Bilasco (32), Kyle Lafferty (49, own goal), Lee McCulloch (59, own goal), Pablo Brandan (65) and Ricardo Vilana (2, own goal). The psychological drama of the match unfolded in minute 38, when Steven Davis failed to score a penalty kick, defended by Daniel Tudor. The match was infamous for no less than three own goals.
