Dallas Stars sign winger Fedoruk
The Dallas Stars signed left wing Todd Fedoruk Monday to a one-year, $875,000 contract for the 2007-08 season.
Todd adds the elements of size and toughness to our hockey club, said Stars General Manager Doug Armstrong.
We expect our fans to enjoy his style of play and we look forward to his contributions to the Dallas Stars in 2007-08.
Fedoruk, 28, played in 58 total games last season with the Anaheim Ducks and the Philadelphia Flyers. He had three goals and 11 assists for 14 points with 120 penalty minutes. He was acquired by Philadelphia last November in exchange for a fourth round pick.
The 6-2, 241-pounder originally was drafted by the Flyers in the seventh round of the 1997 NHL entry draft. Over parts of six NHL seasons, Fedoruk has collected 17 goals and 48 assists for 65 points with 785 penalty minutes.Copyright 2007 by United Press International UPI-1-20070709-20473800-bc-hkn-fedoruk.xml
