MLB: Boston 10, Tampa Bay 6
Nick Green and Kevin Youkilis each had three RBI Saturday to lead the Boston Red Sox to a 10-6 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays.
J.D. Drew had two RBI, Mike Lowell homered and Dustin Pedroia also had an RBI for the Red Sox.
Boston starter Tim Wakefield (3-1) got the win but he gave up five runs on seven hits and three walks in five-plus innings.
Carlos Pena hit his major-league leading 11th home run and had two RBI for the Rays, who lost for the third time in their last five games. Evan Longoria and Pat Burrell also each had two RBI for Tampa Bay.
Jeff Niemann (2-3) was the losing pitcher after allowing six runs on seven hits in three innings.
