Chris Getz tripled in the go-ahead run in the seventh inning Friday and the Chicago White Sox rallied from a three-run deficit to defeat Texas 4-3.

Jim Thome drove in three runs with a sixth-inning double and Getz came through with his big hit to give the White Sox their fourth win in six games. Scott Podsednik, who had his contract purchased from Class AAA Charlotte prior to the game, had two hits and scored a run.

Mark Buehrle (4-0) gave up three early runs, but lasted six innings to get the victory. It is the second time in his career he has opened the season with four straight wins.

Bobby Jenks worked around a one-out walk in the ninth to pick up his sixth save.

Ian Kinsler homered to lead off the first inning and Michael Young went 3-for-4 to pace the Rangers.

Starter Scott Feldman allowed three runs on three hits over 5 2/3 innings, but the loss went to Derek Holland (0-1).
