MLB: LA Angels 8, New York Yankees 4
Torii Hunter highlighted a four-run seventh with a two-run double Saturday to spark the Los Angeles Angels to an 8-4 victory over the New York Yankees.
Howie Kendrick drove in the go-ahead run in the inning and Kendry Morales had a home run and two RBI in the Angels' fourth win in their last six games.
Matt Palmer (2-0) pitched three-hit ball into the seventh. He held the Yankees to just one run with two walks in 6 2/3 innings.
CC Sabathia (1-3) lost his second straight start and is 0-2 in his last four outings. Sabathia worked five scoreless innings but wound up giving up five runs on eight hits with one walk and five strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings.
Jorge Posada hit a two-run homer for New York. Robinson Cano went 0-for-4 and had his 18-game hitting streak come to an end.
