Andy LaRoche and Ramon Vazquez had two RBI each Saturday to boost the Pittsburgh Pirates to an 8-6 win over Cincinnati.
Nate McLouth had three hits, one RBI, and scored three times. His RBI single in the bottom of the first ended a string of 22 scoreless innings for the Pirates.
Freddy Sanchez and Adam LaRoche had two hits apiece for the Pirates, who had lost four in a row.
Winner Ross Ohlendorf (3-2) gave up three earned runs and six hits in six innings before relievers Sean Burnett, John Grabow and Matt Capps mopped up.
One of Cincinnati's 14 hits was a three-run fourth-inning homer by Alex Gonzalez. Adam Rosales had three hits and one RBI, Joey Votto had two hits and one RBI, while Brandon Phillips added an RBI for the Reds, who have split their last four contests.
Losing pitcher Micah Owings (1-3) gave up five earned runs and nine hits in 5 2/3 innings.
