NBA: Cleveland 111, Charlotte 81
LeBron James keyed a run late in the first period Wednesday that sent Cleveland coasting past Charlotte 111-81.
The Cavaliers remained perfect in their 18 home games this season.
Cleveland had a 15-11 advantage with 3 minutes to play in the opening quarter and finished off the period on a 14-1 surge. James scored nine of those 14 points and finished with 21 in 31 minutes.
Mo Williams, Daniel Gibson and Wally Szczerbiak each delivered 15 points for Cleveland, which led by 18 at halftime and by 28 after three periods.
The Cavaliers shot 60 percent from the floor and made half their 14 three-point attempts.
Charlotte was led by Raymond Felton with 15. The Bobcats had been trying to win three in a row for the first time this season.
