NBA: Detroit 95, Indiana 87
Richard Hamilton led a balanced Detroit attack with 21 points Sunday night as the Pistons beat the Indiana Pacers, 95-87.
Rasheed Wallace had 20 points, seven rebounds, five blocked shots and three steals; Chris Webber had 17 points, 13 rebounds and three assists; Chauncey Billups had 17 points and six assists; and Antonio McDyess had 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Pistons, who led by only 47-43 at the break, but went on to win for the fourth time in their last five games.
Indiana tied the game, 79-79, with 5:56 left in the fourth quarter, but Detroit scored 10 straight points to seize control until the end.
Jermaine O' Neal led the Pacers with 26 points, 12 rebounds and five blocked shots. Jamaal Tinsley added 18 points and seven assists for the Pacers, whose season-high three-game winning streak was snapped. // Copyright 2007 by United Press International
