Palermo's goal 40 yards header-candidate for Guinness Book
Striker Martin Palermo, 35, from Argentina has a good chance to make into the Guinness Book of Records after scoring with a header from 40 yards (38.9 metres) in Boca Juniors' 3-2 win over Argentine champions Velez Sarsfield (see video below).
Palermo reacted instinctively on the edge of the centre circle after Velez keeper German Montoya ran out of his area to clear, only for his clearance to go straight to Palermo.
