Jarrod Washburn gave up three earned runs and four hits in seven innings Sunday as the Seattle Mariners beat Kansas City, 7-4, completing a three-game sweep.

Washburn (5-4) departed with one walk and four strikeouts, while J.J. Putz recorded his 12th save of the season.

Jose Vidro and Raul Ibanez both drove in two runs. Ichiro Suzuki went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored; Adrian Beltre had one run, two hits and one RBI; Jamie Burke hit an RBI single; and Jose Lopez had two runs and one hit for the Mariners -- who have won five of their last six games.

Ryan Shealy went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored, David DeJesus hit an RBI groundout, and two runs scored after an error and a wild pitch for the Royals, who have lost four straight.

Loser Odalis Perez (2-5) was tagged for six earned runs and nine hits in 5 2/3 innings.
